We spend many a morning in the wonderful company of Ben & Holly in this house. Over the years we’ve come to love these elves and fairies enjoying classic adventures such as Big Bad Barry….and of course the Jelly Flood! Ben, Holly, Nanny Plum and the Wise Old Elf are well and truly loved in this family…..so here’s the best news ever….Ben & Holly are on tour! We were lucky enough to catch one of their performances at The Assembly Hall Theatre in Tunbridge Wells this week and loved every minute!

Ready for the show!

I took my son, Logan (20 months) and my daughter, Daisy and her friend (both 7). This was Logan’s first trip to the theatre..and what a great show to introduce him to show business. The show is delivered in bite size performances.. the first part being about 30 minutes with a short break before another 30 minute finale. The theatre has a relaxed approach about little ones getting out of their seats.. it’s even encouraged towards the end! The girls thought they might be too grown up…but (of course) they really enjoyed it. The show is targeted towards preschoolers but I’d recommend it to children aged up to 7. There’s a whole lot of singing and dancing and some fantastic special effects.

Captivated by the show!

A truly magical performance from all our favourite characters and ideal opportunity to introduce little ones to the wonder of theatre. Here’s the lowdown…

Fiery Light Productions have brought all the magic of the show on the small screen to the stage in this exciting musical adventure. Ben and Holly have fun and games helping Gaston clean up his messy cave; they go on a trip to The Big World with tooth-fairy Nanny Plum; and still have time to plan a surprise for King Elf’s birthday party, complete with an unplanned jelly flood.

Packed full of games, songs and laughter, this is an enchanting and magical visit to the Little Kingdom. This beautiful story of elves, princesses and childhood innocence will delight all the family.

The magic takes place on Thursday 6th and Friday 7th April..which for most schools in East Sussex and Kent is the first week of the Easter holidays. There are a number of shows throughout the two days so please check out which best suits you by checking for showings and ticket availability on the Assembly Hall Theatre website

If you’ve ever seen any of the Peppa Pig theatre experiences you’ll be aware of the magic that Fiery Light Productions create on stage. We can’t wait! I might get a bit star struck by Nanny Plum! And don’t worry if you don’t live near Tunbridge  Wells…they’re visiting a town near you! Hurrah!

Tickets are £16 for adults and £14 for children.
