Canvas and Stars Indoor Teepee Parties

September 23, 2018

If you follow my blog you’ll know that we are huge fans of camping, glamping and the great outdoors. When I recently came across the concept of glamping themed sleepover parties I was sold. All the fun of camping without any of the hassle, or concerns about the weather. I was thrilled to be offered the opportunity to host a Canvas and Stars indoor teepee party for my daughter, Daisy’s 9th birthday party recently. The whole experience was completely stress free and certainly created some memories that Daisy will treasure. Read on for the full lowdown on how an indoor glamping party works and what’s involved.

The Set Up

A member of the Canvas and Stars team will arrange a suitable time to come and set up the teepee’s, airbeds and accessories. For Daisy’s party we arranged for our representative, Natalie, to arrive whilst Daisy was out having dinner so the teepee party would be a complete surprise. Communication with Natalie in the run up to the party was excellent. We knew exactly when to expect her arrival and she was able to advise us that the set up would take about 30 minutes (it actually took a little less than this). You will need to consider the size of the room you are planning on hosting the party in and how many children you are hoping to invite. I was surprised at how much space 3 beds took up…fortunately they fitted perfectly into our playroom. Your Canvas and Stars rep will return the next day to pack up and collect the party package so you can sit back and relax!

The WOW Factor

When Daisy came home to discover her sleepover was in fact…an indoor glamping party she was absolutely over the moon. The room looked incredible. The colourful bunting, neon lights and accessories all helped create a striking first impression. I think all the girls were actually speechless when they opened the door…followed by excited screeching and laughter. They couldn’t believe that they would be sleeping in such a cool room!

What’s Included?

Each child is provide with an inflated air bed and bedding (sheet, themed pillow and thick, soft blanket). A teepee covers the top half of each air bed to allow them their full camping experience. The teepees are adorned with bright bunting and fairy lights tailored to the theme. The party guests each receive a breakfast tray full of themed treats….as we opted for the disco neon themed party the accessories included leg warmers, disco gloves, torches, tutus, neon beads, slinkies and glow bands. Finally there is an electric glitter ball disco light which fills the room with bright disco colours once it gets dark.

Party Themes

As I mentioned, we opted for the disco neon themed party…but there are a number of alternative packages available including:

  • The Greatest Showman
  • I’m a celebrity get me out of here
  • Halloween
  • Teddy Bears Picnic

Please check the Canvas and Stars Indoor Teepee Party website for current options.

How much does it cost?

Party packages are priced at £30 per child, so our Disco Neon themed party for 3 children cost £90. For more details on prices please visit the Canvas and Stars Indoor Teepee Party website.

Verdict

Seeing Daisy’s face light up when she first saw the teepee’s was enough to confirm that this was a treat that she will remember for a long time. The room looked stunning and Daisy and her guests found hours of entertainment dressing up in the accessories and dancing around with the lights. I added my own snacks and movie but these can be ordered an extras through Canvas and Stars. I was really impressed by the service, communication and professionalism we received from our party rep and will certainly consider hosting future special celebrations with another indoor teepee party.

We received a complementary party package from Canvas and Stars Indoor Teepee Parties in exchange for this review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
