Daisy London ~ Classic jewellery to suit every day adventures

September 11, 2022

Daisy is a brand with it’s roots in swinging London, yet their jewellery lines are as fresh today as they’ve ever been. Having started as a humble market stall on Portobello Road the Daisy enterprise has flourished to become the well known and well loved brand sold in department stores across the world. They aim to create effortless, everyday jewellery that you’ll love wearing as much in 20 years time as you do today. Classic, timeless pieces that you can dress up or dress down depending on your mood. I’ve been a fan of Daisy for a number for years – my daughter is even called Daisy (not necessarily a related incident!) but I had never been lucky enough to own a piece of from their jewellery collection – until now!

Sustainability

Before I share my thoughts on my jewellery I wanted to highlight Daisy’s stance on sustainability as this is something that’s important to me when deciding whether to work with a brand – especially big names like Daisy. I’m happy to share that Daisy make their jewellery using 100% recycled 925 sterling silver, working closely with the Responsible Jewellery Guidelines with trusted factories in Italy and Thailand. They also use FSC certified materials for all their recyclable packaging.

Estee Lalonde Interlock Chain Necklace – £169

Made from recycled silver and 18ct gold plate this necklace is effortlessly classic in it’s own right. The interlocking chain effect means that the piece feels quite chunky and heavy yet is easy to wear and goes with everything. I’ve been wearing my chain necklace at the weekend and for nights out. I layer it with other gold necklaces for a more dressy occasions. I’m a big fan – a gorgeous piece.

Estee Lalonde Luna Huggie Charm Earrings – £69

As with the interlock chain necklace these pretty earrings are also made from recycled silver and 18ct gold plate. They feature delicately carved, mismatched pieces to represent the changes phases of the moon. I have to admit that I rarely wear earrings – in fact it’s been years since I’ve put anything in my little lobes! But these were worthy of making the switch.. I’ve worn these charm earrings several times now on evenings out and they’ve received so many compliments. They’re small enough wear comfortably while adding something really unique to an ensemble. I’m now keen to add smaller earrings to my second piercings as I think another little moon themed stud would look so good with the Luna Huggie.
