adidas – Autumn Comfy Casuals
Earlier this year I as thrilled to be invited to join the adidas blogger community. As part of that venture I’ve been tasked with testing and reviewing a selection of their products (tough gig, I know!). I’ve already explored sustainable sports wear and active kit for cooler months so for my next post I thought I’d take it a bit easier and try out some seasonal comfy casual wear. For this piece I wore a pair of Terrex leggings, a classic adidas Trefoil jacket and a pair of adidas sliders.
Terrex Multi Leggings in black (Size 14) – £55
Oh my god I LOVE THESE LEGGINGS! I’m usually a baggy jeans kinda girl, but since these arrived I’ve lived in them. Terrex is adidas’ hiking range so these have been designed for outdoor adventures, but I can tell you they work equally as well as cosy comfies. I love the high waist which is really flattering without being too tight. I also like how they fit well down to my ankles, no draughty gaps. I’m yet to venture up mountains in these beauties but I expect they’re warm and durable as they’re thick and well lined.. I’ll keep you posted on that one. The icing on the cake is that the Terrex Multi Leggings contain 70% recycled content including yarn made from Parley Ocean Plastic. Stylish and sustainable gets a thumbs up here.
adisage sildes in black and gold – £25
I live in sliders and thought these would be a perfect addition to my collection alongside my trusty adidas trainers. They look great…but I just can’t get along with the massage nubs on the foot bed. I have very flat feet so I wonder if my feet are more sensitive than those with strong arches? Reading the reviews online my feelings are not shared with many others. Most customers seem to love the massage effect these nubs offer. Sadly I’m going to have to revert back to my old tried and tested pair that have seen better days but know my funny shaped feet very well!
adicolour Classics Trefoil Colleague Jacket (Size L) – £75
As well as looking flippin’ awesome this jacket is surprisingly soft and warm on the inside. I love the classic adidas look with an American College twist pairing particularly well with jeans and trainers. It is slightly shorter than I would like, but I do like jackets to be big and baggy. As ever adidas have done their bit to try to source sustainable / ethical materials. This jacket is made with cotton from Better Cotton who work to make global cotton production better for the people who produce it, better for the environment it grows in and better for the sector’s future.
