New Glamping Sites, Accommodation & Services across England and France 2018

January 5, 2018

2018 looks set to be a huge year for Glamping. Recent years have seen a steady growth in popularity of this stress-free and luxurious version of camping. The success of Glamping has in no doubt been helped along by an increase in the appeal of holidaying in the UK. Brexit, expensive package holidays in the school holidays and financial pressures on families have helped in the rise in popularity. We’re now spoilt for choice with options of staying in treehouses, yurts, buses or even caves! Glamping is well and truly here to stay! I’ve really enjoyed exploring some of the newest Glamping sites and accommodation options being introduced for the 2018 season from all over England and a couple of fantastic locations in France.

South

Canvas & Stars – East Sussex, West Sussex, Hampshire

Both sites are geared towards families with activities and complimentary marshmallows and hot chocolate all included.

If you’re looking for something more unusual, then they also offer the use of their Narrow Boat, The Sitting Duck in Shropshire…with it’s own hot tub on the deck!

Oxney Organic Estate – East Sussex

The Oxney Estate is an established vineyard near Rye, East Sussex. In addition to a set of 3 luxurious barns, Oxney is inviting guests to come and stay in their brand new shepherd’s huts this year.
