Driftwood Lodge – A New Boutique Guest House in Rhosneigr, North Wales
After opening its doors on December 8, 2022, a new brand boutique guest house in the pretty village of Rhosneigr, North Wales welcomed its very first visitors.
The Guest House
Driftwood, a six-bedroom facility with a self-catering lodge, offers guests all the amenities of a luxury hotel but with the friendliness and look of a Welsh guesthouse. Plus there’s the obvious benefit of being able to offer breath-taking views of the sea, mountains nearby, Starvation Rocks and RAF Valley.
The owners of Driftwood Lodge are excited to be able to launch their new hospitality business running the luxury boutique guest house and lodge. Being situated just a few minutes walking distance from the sea, with a beautiful view and a variety of room options for families, couples, and nature lovers they hope their stunning property will appeal to a broad spectrum of guests.
“We are happy to re-open Driftwood in the picturesque village of Rhosneigr and look forward to welcoming tourists to our magnificent seaside pocket,” said Matthew Bullas and Katherine Owen, owners of Driftwood and directors of Rhosneigr Ltd. “We offer a variety of rooms able to accommodate families, couples, and lone travellers, all of whom we hope will feel at ease in the peaceful surroundings of our boutique guesthouse.”
After refurbishing it to a high standard, the property has six new rooms set over three floors and a luxury self-catering lodge for a memorable stay. The lodge rooms are equipped with Egyptian cotton linen, free wifi, and a smart TV with access to major film and TV applications. Guests can also enjoy en-suite rooms with complimentary toiletries from Anglesey’s Cole & Co. There’s also tea and coffee facilities, Aberffraw cookies, complimentary chilled water, bathrobes, and slippers for each visitor. Two bedrooms include family-sized sleeping arrangements, an optional Z bed and a travel cot. A number of dog-friendly rooms can also be offered at the property for guests travelling with pets.
Furthermore, the residential self-catering lodge has been restored and refurbished into luxurious self-catering accommodation, complete with its separate entrance and outdoor lounging space, providing visitors with complete solitude. The annex, dubbed ‘Driftwood Lodge‘, has a king-size bed with an en-suite shower and a kitchenette with all amenities such as a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and oven, as well as a dining area.
