Shinesty – The outrageous clothing brand guaranteed to make you smile!
Who are Shinesty?
When I was approached by Shinesty in the run up to Christmas I’ve got to admit I’d never heard of them before. Curious I clicked the link to their website and was immediately impressed by their fun, tongue in cheek and refreshingly comical approach to fashion. These guys do not take themselves seriously but are indeed serious about making bright and vibrant clothing with a focus on seasonal events. I don’t consider myself a follower of fashion (far from it sadly) but Shinesty is a brand I can relate to thanks to their apres ski, party themed and Americana ranges. Want to hear more? What do they sell?
If you’re looking for a high end party outfit that will turn heads, but will also have your friends cracking a smile & thinking you’re dapper as hell then Shinesty is the place to go. They specialise in selling a vast range of matching festive outfits (kids included) but they also sell underwear, retro 80’s inspired ski wear, branded and themed Americana clothing, mardi gras, St Paddie’s.. you name it. Just take a look at some of the incredible outfits below and you’ll get the gist. Bright, colourful, fun and a little bit naughty sums it up!
Review: The Eggnog Aficionado Onesie £79.99
I was so happy to receive this incredible onesie to review just in time for Christmas. I ordered a medium but was advised they come up big so was sent a small. They were right! I’m a size 12 but even for me the small fitted big and baggy – the product description explains that it’s made to come up extra big for extra comfort or an extra person *wink wink* (I told you they were a little but naughty!) I absolutely love the crazy, festive design. It genuinely makes me happy when I put it on. The suit is well made with an easy to use chunky zip (no nasty skin catches) and a super soft lining. The zip can also be zipped right up to the hood so you can easily hide for you post lunch Christmas snooze! I wore this suit all day on Christmas Day (I’m not lying!) It was cosy for present opening, warm and practical for my Christmas Day beach swim and loose enough to allow me as many portions as I liked of turkey and mined pies. The highlight of my day was when a little girl walked past me and asked her Mummy why some of Santa’s elves were still working! I love this Eggnog Onesie. Would I pay £79.99 for it? Probably not. To me that is a lot to spend on a fun item. They do have a number of discounted items which are worth looking at and there are definitely some items in their range I would happily pay the full price for. Shinety make products that stand out. Be prepared to be asked numerous times where you got your outfit from because people love this brand.
Make sure you follow Shinesty on Instagram for updates and a giggle. I was gifted the Eggnog Aficioando Onesie in exchange for this review. Make sure you check out the full Shinesty range here.
