TOG24 Clothing Review – Time to #GetToggedUp

July 8, 2021

Who are TOG24?

TOG24 are British outdoor clothing brand founded by Donald Ward back in 1958. TOG24 was, and still is a family business with its roots stemming from the textile industry in West Yorkshire. Today, TOG24 remain true to their cause providing high quality and good value active clothing to lovers of the outdoors across the country. The name TOG24 stands for Truth Over Glory Everyday highlighting their belief that the outdoors is for everyone and not just the elite. I love what this brand stand for – providing accessible, affordable and well made clothing for anyone and everyone who loves the outdoors. With this in mind I was obviously made up to be invited to review a few items from their women’s line a few weeks ago. So ey up, without further ado let’s see if this bunch from Yorkshire can make clothing proper!

Craven Women’s Waterproof Packaway Jacket £37.50 (Reduced from £75)

This gorgeous, bright jacket is ideal for days out when the weather looks uncertain. It comes with its own little pouch meaning the jacket can easily be stored in a backpack or even handbag without imposing on space. The jacket is light weight and breathable allowing you to stay cool on warmer days. The jacket also comes in a vast range of colours. I love the Golden Yellow version but if it’s not your cup of tea there are 13 (yes 13!) alternative designs to choose from. I wore a size 12 which is true to size – I like jackets to fit quite baggy but this was just right. At £37.50, almost half it’s original price I don’t think you can go wrong with the Craven Packaway as a solution for summer showers.

Highlights – Easy to carry, durable, breathable – awesome colours!

Winnie Women’s Ripple Jumper £42 (Reduced from £75)

This jumper is soft, comfortable, cosy and a great colour. I’ve worn it endlessly this summer wearing it on camping trips when the evening get cool and at home snuggling in front of the telly. The Winnie jumper is knitted with a textured ripple design which is a really original effect and reminds me of traditional fisherman jumpers. I chose Dark Coral and, for me the vibrant colour really makes this jumper. It’s also available in Sangria – a deep rich purple which is even currently cheaper than the Dark Coral version at just £20. I opted for a larger size in this as again, I like jumpers to fit quite loose. However, the size 14 is actually a bit too big for me so I would stick to your usual sizing even if you like a baggy fit. I love wearing brightly coloured clothes so wearing this jumper genuinely puts a smile on my face. If only there was such a simple solution for everything in life!

Highlights – Soft, warm, stylish ripple effect, colours to make to you feel happy!

Willerby Women’s Sweat Pants £28 (Reduced from £40)

These light weight, cotton rich joggers are so super cosy it’s hard to find the motivation to wear anything else! While I wouldn’t usually wear this style of trouser on walks or hikes (I prefer leggings) the Willerby are exactly what I want to change into once I’m home. I love the soft interior with the loose waist band making them particularly comfy (especially after eating!) I’m wearing a size 14 which are a bit big for me, but I prefer a loose fit for this type of clothing. The ideal comfy Sunday slouch pants.

Highlights – Soft, warm, cosy and really comfortable.

Accessories – If you want to add some personal flair to your outfit, consider going to pins badges uk for customized pins to accessorize your outfit. Custom styles are fun and more personalized.
