5 Unique Holiday Hideaways for Families in Devon
Devon holds a very special place in my childhood memories. For many years my grandparents owned a house near Brixham. We’d spend Easter and Summer breaks eating fish n chips by the harbour in the rain, exploring the arcades in Paignton and strolling along the prom in Torquay. There’s something very wholesomely British about holidaying as a family in Devon. A traditional innocence that’s hardly changed for generations. That sense of tradition is certainly part of it’s appeal – along with stunning countryside, beautiful beaches and a slower pace of life…of course! Devon is still one of the places that calls to us every summer. It’s been a few years since we were last back West… perhaps this is the year? And if it is, I can tell you right now we’ll be heading straight to one these stunning family holiday hideaways as featured on the Unique hideaways website. Wagons, huts, yurts and safari tents these guys are speaking my language! Which of these utter beauts ticks your family vay-cay checklist?
